Rice

Rice is a great little place, it's a small place that feels more like a cool diner than a fine dining restaurant, but with a well thought out menu. I ordered the Mexican Chicken Soup because I wasn't that hungry and JV ordered the French Toast with lime and bananas with a side of Naan bread with peanut butter. It's kind of an asian fusion place, with interesting and creative menu offerrings. The food is fresh and delicious and clean tasting, healthy but with plenty of flavor. If we lived closer to Rice we'd bet here a lot more often. But they have a few locations, so maybe there's hope they will open one a little closer to 52nd Street. Reasonable prices, good service, and yummy food.

We can meet there for dinner if you like. I think I'm going to try to take a 5:30 class at Grand Central, so I won't be too far away. Be done a little after 6:30. sound good?
